Turning Trash into Hope

On a bright August morning, dozens of volunteers gathered at Ujalpur Park armed with gloves, bags and determination. The mission: to clean our beloved park and plant new saplings. Leading up to the event, our outreach team canvassed the neighborhood and engaged schools to encourage participation.

Over the course of three hours, volunteers collected more than 200 kilograms of litter, separating recyclable materials from waste. Children learned about recycling and the importance of keeping public spaces clean. After the clean‑up, we planted 50 native trees, which will provide shade and improve air quality for years to come.

Community Impact

The clean‑up was more than just a tidy‑up; it sparked conversations about environmental responsibility. Local residents committed to reducing litter and participating in future initiatives. Our event also raised awareness about our ongoing environmental programs, inspiring several attendees to sign up as volunteers.

Thank you to all who participated and donated supplies. Your efforts make a lasting difference. We look forward to seeing you at our next event!
